There are times when God requires our faith to do the supernatural in our lives. However, in some instances he totally just wants to show forth his glory in a man’s life and for his mercy, he will do what he needs to do for the glory of his name.
The man at the pool of Bethesda was one of those people highly favored of the Lord. The Lord visited him at the pool knowing he needed divine intervention. When he was asked if he wanted to be healed, instead of answering the Lord, he gave him the routine analysis of the reasons why he was not healed. He had lost hope but the Lord visited him despite his unbelief.
