Oby Ezekwesili

 

Following a misrepresentation of Oby Ezekwesili in a false publication, Vanguard newspaper swallowed its pride to write an apology letter to the former Education Minister.

 

This comes after a false report on the economy was credited to the ex-minister by the media outfit. The media outfit begged the front line campaigner of the Bring Back Our Girls group to forgive and forget for the damage the publication may have caused her and her reputation.

 

Vanguard's apology

 

Ezekwesili in her statement to the apology, urged the media house to uphold the standard of truth, credibility and authentic news. She also asked them to do a total overhaul of their quality control and assurance.
