The tanker with registration number: AAA 991 XQ, was coming from Ikeja axis and driving towards the international airport, lost control in the process of negotiating the sharp bend around the airport.
Only the tanker driver was injured. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for subsequent treatment. The effect of the accident was massive as it affected the movement of vehicles in the area.
The head of the Lagos State Fire Service in the person of Mr. Fatai
told journalists his team received a distress call at 10:14am about the
incident. His team at the Mobalaji Bank Anthony Way promptly responded
to arrest the situation.
